A lot of poetry accounts on Instagram have anonymous authors, and there’s nothing wrong with that. When I first started out, it was daunting to show my face alongside my poems. If you stick at it, your confidence will grow. Once it does, consider changing your profile picture to your face. Upload a few photos of yourself. Even do some reels.

People connect with people. It’s much easier to build a relationship when you know exactly who you’re interacting with.
